NATIONAL ACTIVE AND RETIRED FEDERAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION
NARFE’S objectives are to:
Sponsor and support legislation to protect the benefits
and general welfare of its members
on issues such as health benefits, retirement, etc.;
Inform members about legislative issues, primarily retirement income and Health care benefits,
taxation and COLA’s;
Strengthen the political influence of current and future federal retirees through NARFE-PAC,
a political action committee;
Cooperate with other organizations seeking to accomplish
similar legislative goals;
Work in partnership with the Office of Personnel Management to answer questions related to retirement benefits;
Foster public recognition and appreciation of government service, and
Contribute to the well-being of local communities.

NARFE Columbia Chapter 87 will resume its in-person monthly meetings at Seawell’s Restaurant on Friday, April 8, 2022. From this second Friday of the month onward unless circumstances dictate otherwise, the meetings will be held every second Friday of each month at Seawell’s Restaurant, 1125 Rosewood Drive, Columbia, SC directly across from the main entrance to the SC State Fairgrounds. Doors will open at 11:00 am. A complete buffet lunch costing $15.00 will be available to attendees who wish to partake. A reservation is not required to come join us.
NARFE CHAPTER 87, Columbia, South Carolina holds it's monthly meetings on the Second Friday of each month beginning at 11:00 a.m. Seawell's Restaurant, 1125 Rosewood Drive in Columbia, directly across from the entrance to the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. Doors open at 10:45 a.m.
